HE500 REVERSE double edging line is consisting of No. 2 double edgers, connected by an angular transfer table. The first machine processes the two short sides of the glass sheet, while the second machine the two longer ones. At the inlet of both double edgers is foreseen a squaring unit for the correct alignment of the glass sheets.
The new range of double edging machines HE500 is the result of the vast experience of Bavelloni in the edge processing field. HE500 double edging machines have been designed and built to meet the market needs in the architectural, IG, and furniture sector. Available in different models, according to the number of wheels, and wide range of dimensions, they are unique for performances, reliability and ease of use, thanks to application of the most up-to-date technical solutions. To maximize the productivity of the machine a specific attention has been given to the reduction of start-up times.
The machine is constructed of a strong double-beam basement, which supports the fixed and the mobile bridge. The machines are available with the fixed bridge positioned at the right, with respect to the glass in feed, or with a left fixed side.
The spindles and the conveyor of glass sheets are installed upon the bridges. HE500 REVERSE description Pictures in this document are indicative and they could display optional devices. This document contains confidential information that shall not be copied or disclosed to any third party.
A system for the grinding water collecting is positioned inside the basement. The mobile bridge slides upon two ball bearing guides, this offers the advantages of extreme accuracy, minimum frictions, high speed of movements, with virtually no maintenance.
The bridge movement is by means of a pinion system and racks, governed by two brushless motors which guarantee quick movements reducing set up times to a minimum.
The movement of the mobile bridge is equipped with a “long life” lubrication system.
The spindles for the processing of the glass edging are installed on the bridges. Each model has different spindle configurations (see technical data).
The diamond spindles for edge grinding, or flat edge, are equipped with a manual adjustment system to recover the wheels as they wear.
The polishing spindles have a totally pneumatic self-adjustment system to compensate for wheel wear. This unit raises the wheel position as it wears to guarantee the perfect polishing of the edge is constant. The polishing pressure is adjustable by regulator depending upon the glass thickness and required finishing.
The glass conveyor is consisting of Nr. 4 ground belts with a high resistance steel core. The belts slide on guides made of anti-friction and no wear material. Belts have a special coating to cut down frictions.
The 4 belts are motorized by 4 brushless motors (2 on each bridge) controlled by drives. Thanks to this solution the traditional transmission bar between the fixed bridge and the mobile one has been eliminated.
With the changing glass thickness, it is necessary to adjust the opening of the conveyor (distance between upper and lower belts). This operation is automatically performed by the electronic control equipment (through the entry of the required thickness).
For easy replacement of the wheels the pressure unit can be lifted completely.
A special coating for the belts is used for the processing of Low-E glass, the belts are kept constantly clean by a rotating brush and a nozzle fed with clean water.
All functions are managed by a HD 18.5’’ touch-screen control panel, complete with keyboard.
Electric installation carried out according to CE rules and with water proof connectors.
The new managing system electronic control of the motors can grant accurate diagnostics of the motor spindles for better maintenance and simple servicing.
The electrical box is fully integrated in the machine structure to optimize the machinery footprint. Standard voltage 400/50 Hz, others upon request.
Closed circuit hydraulic system for the wheels cooling, consisting of stainless steel tanks, water distribution and recovery circuit, re-circulation pump.
